Adullam
They want me outside, but God is calling me to Adullam. It feels like my desires have changed over night, just yesterday I was still knocking at a door God had closed.
I could never take credit for the heart that I carry, a heart God is not allowing to turn cold, even through the pain. When anger creeps in, by His grace it is never for too long, but I must surrender. My flesh must die.
Vision, I see it before it comes to pass, but I must admit that my faith wavers at times. It teaches me to repent quickly. How could I ever doubt the Most High? Or am I just too focused on my own humanity? I lament because I have learned that I cannot offer God the insult of a performance.
They want me outside, but God is calling me to Adullam. I do not want to be away from Him. I have learned the fear of God the hard way. Revival begins at my prayer altar. Abba calls me day and night.
At times, my flesh gets in the way, but a day never goes by without communion with Him. The realest and most peaceful intimacy, the cure to my nervous system.
They want me outside, but God is calling me to Adullam. I am in training for glory, His. I cannot fathom it all. Out of my belly rivers of living water are flowing. I’m birthing a certain promise. I cannot compromise it for temporary pleasure.
